TRANSFORMERS Revenge of the fallen

Just watched the Advance Screening of Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen - with Joshua and my 2 kids. We enjoyed the movie a lot. Non-stop action and special effects. Really great movie...worth watching.

The film opens with a short prologue narrated by the voice of Optimus Prime. It depicts primitive human beings in the year 17,000 BC hunting a tiger, only to be interrupted by the appearance of a giant Transformer. In the background, more Transformers can be seen constructing a gigantic device before the scene fades to black.
Two years after the events of the first film, the Autobots alongside the British and American military have joined forces to form an organization named NEST to combat the Decepticons hiding out on Earth. Optimus Prime leads NEST into Shanghai, China, to eliminate Decepticons Demolisher and Sideways. He is joined by newcomers including Arcee, Sideswipe, Jolt and the twins Skids and Mudflap. Sideswipe kills Sideways with the help of Arcee and the Twins, and Optimus and Ironhide kill Demolishor but not before the Decepticon utters that the Fallen will "rise again". American National Security Advisor Galloway berates the Autobots and NEST, suggesting that the Autobots leave. While Optimus does agree to this if the President of the United States of America commands this, he questions what will happen if the planet is left defenceless. Soundwave, a Decepticon intelligence officer, hacks into a satellite and discovers the location of Megatron's corpse and the location of a piece of the AllSpark, the source of the Transformers' existence. Soundwave deploys his minion Ravage to retrieve the shard, which he succeeds in accomplishing. The Constructicons and a surgeon-robot named Scalpel revive Megatron. Megatron flies to a Decepticon spacecraft where he is reunited with air commander Starscream and the Fallen, Megatron's master. The Fallen intends to destroy the Sun and Earth in the process.
Sam Witwicky heads off to college in an attempt to live a normal life. Whilst packing, he finds another shard of the AllSpark which fills his mind with ancient Cybertronian text. The AllSpark fragment also brings kitchen equipment to life, although they are destroyed by Sam's guardian Bumblebee. Sam entrusts the shard to his girlfriend Mikaela, who hides it in her father's safe at a motorcycle garage. Decepticon Wheelie tries to steal it, but is captured by Mikaela. At college, Sam meets his roommate Leo Spitz who runs an alien conspiracy website, and a girl named Alice who makes disturbing advances on Sam. Sam begins to constantly see Cybertronian text, writing it on everything, and has a mental breakdown in his astronomy class. Mikaela comes to Sam's aid, just as he is nearly killed by Alice, revealed to be a Decepticon Pretender. Mikaela disposes of Alice, but Sam, Mikaela and Leo are confronted by Megatron, Starscream, Grindor and Scalpel. As Scalpel prepares to dissect Sam's brain to get information on the location of a new energon signal, Optimus and the other Autobots arrive. Optimus takes on all of the Decepticons killing Scalpel and Grindor but is severely wounded by Megatron, entering stasis lock. The Decepticons invade the planet, the Fallen demanding that Sam be surrendered. Meanwhile, Galloway shuts down NEST, and Sam's parents are captured by Rampage in Paris.
Sam, Mikaela, Leo, Bumblebee, Wheelie and the twins escape being captured and Leo suggests seeking the help of his website rival "RoboWarrior", who is revealed to be former Sector Seven Agent Simmons. Simmons reveals his hidden archive of alien research and explains the history of the Transformers on Earth. It is explained by Wheelie that the language Sam sees is of the Dynasty of Primes, the original thirteen Transformers, who powered the AllSpark like a battery by destroying suns. Wheelie leads the group to Jetfire, an old Decepticon called a Seeker who defects to the Autobots, along with Wheelie. Upon learning the situation, Jetfire uses a space bridge to teleport the group to Egypt. He explains that the Primes used the suns to power the AllSpark by using machines called Sun Harvesters, which were powered by the Matrix of Leadership. However, the Fallen betrayed them, and sparked the war for the AllSpark. The other Primes defeated the Fallen and then killed themselves to seal away the Matrix, the tomb hidden somewhere in the desert.
Through clues, the Matrix is found in Petra but it crumbles to dust in Sam's hands. Nevertheless, Sam piles the dust into his sock. Simmons contacts Major William Lennox and his troops and asks them to bring the Autobots and Optimus' corpse to Egypt so Optimus can be revived, a Prime being the only one capable of killing the Fallen. The military arrive but so do the Decepticons. Leo, Simmons and the twins face off against Devastator, the combined form of several Constructicons, who scales a pyramid to uncover the Sun Harvester. Devastator is ultimately destroyed by a rail gun round fired from a nearby destroyer on Simmons' orders. Bumblebee rescues Sam's parents, and kills both Rampage and Ravage. Aerial reinforcements are summoned, killing Long Haul, Scrapper, and Hightower. However, Sam is caught in the attack and is severely injured; in his unconscious state, he has a vision of the Dynasty of Primes. Sam reawakens, telling Mikaela that he loves her just as the Matrix regenerates, and Sam uses it to revive Optimus; however, before Optimus can be fully revived, the Fallen travels through a space bridge and takes the Matrix back out of Optimus' spark. After killing Mixmaster Jetfire fights and kills Scorponok, but is mortally wounded, so he gives up his own spark and parts to Optimus, giving him the strength to destroy the Sun Harvester and kill the Fallen. Megatron and Starscream make a tactical retreat. The film concludes with Optimus proclaiming that the Transformers and humans now share an untold history and will combine their differences.

Joshua just got his new Gold Mastercard yesterday. We were not supposed to apply a gold card because he can still use the classic card, but because we have plans on June, we need to have a mastercard. With my mothers help...again... Nanay apllied an extension cardholder for Joshua ... again, but this time as a GOLD MASTERCARD holder. It's very difficult to apply a Gold mastercard because you need to have an account with BPI with a bit big maintaining balance. Since she believes that my Joshua is responsible enough to handle her credit limit of ...., she made Joshua her only extension card holder.

We are going to try his new card tomorrow ...hehehe.

Last Wednesday, though my Joshua arrived a bit late already from his 9AM-6PM shift, we still had our monthly date. We went at Cinnabon near Shell gas station in Susana heights. We had hot choco and cinnamons ...hmmmm...super sarap pa rin... Of course it didnt satisfy our hunger so went at Brothers Burger in Alabang . I ordered Blues Brother burger and Joshua ordered Philadelphia steak sandwich (ata). I wasnt able to get a picture of joshua's sandwich because he ate it as soon as he got it. He also ate half of my sandwich ,hehehe...super big kasi ng sandwich ko e. Sulit naman siya. Next month, most probably , mas okay ang aming celebration...late lang siguro ng 1 day. hehehe

PRAYER FOR MY ROBERT

Last week treb complained of having neck pains and difficulty in breathing, since I was checking my mom's blood pressure, i also checked robert's bp. Its 120/90, I was alarmed and had him checked the next day. But when the nurse checked his blood pressure the next day, it was normal already, but I still requested for an ecg. I only got the result this morning, it stated that robert's left atrium might be enlarged and he should have to undergo another test "2D Echo" which is quite expensive. Please pray for my son, we hope that his heart is not enlarged.

I'm preparing for our simple pasyal this June. Since I need to pack light and should expect long walks, I really need sandals or slippers that would look good on both pants or shorts or skirt, and hindi mabigat. joshua accompanied me in choosing my sandals... I saw this very nice sandals at kickers and naka 79% off siya, but sad to say wala na akong size...kaya pala sale puro size 8 at 9 na lang. Then we went at Celine, pero wala pa rin akong nagustuhan, sakit sa paa e. Then we looked at Nike, Proline at iba pa...wala pa rin... Our last stop was Havaianas... buti na lang may nagustuhan ko. Simple , comfortable and affordable. Dapat ako magbabayad pero napilit ko si Joshua ko na siya na lang...hehehe. Thank you Mahal ! MWAH !!!

Yesterday was Robert's Recognition day. I'm so proud of my Robert who once again excelled in his batch. He got ten medals and 3 cerificates. Medals for - Best in Science, Best in Math, Best in English, Best in Speech, Best in MAKABAYAN, Best in HEKASI, Best in Computer , Best in MSEPP, Co- curricular awardee and APSA effeciency award in English and syempre his first honor medal. He also got certificates for winning in the LAPRISAA, Best Researcher and 2nd place for Quiz Bee competition. After the ceremony we ate at Leslie's, only 299 per person - eat all you can lunch buffet. Maganda yung place but the food ... ayoko magsabi ng di maganda...hehehe. Buti na lang maganda yung lugar. Hayyyy. Thank you Lord at nag first si Treb !!!

Yesterday was Jersey's recognition day. The program started

on time. After the prayer (by Prep student David), and short speech by Prep's 1st honor Nicholas, a fellow alumni gave a very nice speech. Their guest speaker Ms. Faye Villanueva, daughter of Pastor Frank Villanueva delivered a very very nice speech. Unlike the previous guest speakers, Ms. Faye gave her speech in a manner that the children can understand and at the same time both parents and children can learn. After her short talk was the awarding of medals and certificates. Jersey received 7 medals ( 1st HONOR, Best in Math, Best in Values Education, Best in Reading, Best in Language, Best in Science and Dancer of the Year) and 2 certificates ( 2nd place for poem recitation contest and LAPRISAA participant). After that she danced " To you sweetheart aloha" (hawaiian) and some part of the single ladies and ended her special number with marian rivera's SO SEXY. After the program we all ate at Gloria Maris (thanks to Jarmie's Dad who paid for the very delicious lunch). We were so happy and so proud of our Raizelle Jersey !!!

My mom and dad celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary today. Since I'm the only daughter left here in the Philippines, we just had simple lunch at Tia Maria at Festival Mall Alabang. They has big combo meals at a very reasonable price. Robert and Tatay and Nanay shared their platter meal (580 pesos), may sobra pa. The platter comsists of mexican pizza, quesadillas, cheese flautas, spareribs, buffalo wings, taquitos(mini tacos) and nachos. Josh had enchilada with flautas and I had tacos and burrito ( share din kami ni josh kasi dami e). Mango Juice is only 50 pesos. Mga 1200 lang nagastos namin ( less senior citizen discount). I know I'll be back, next time I'm going to try their baby back ribs for only 280 pesos

Friday the 13th Date

Last Friday the 13th me and Josh had a simple yet sweet date at ATC. We watched "Race to Witch Mountain" , at first I thought that it was just for kids, but Josh really wanted to watch this movie so I agreed. Well... I was wrong , it was a good movie. I enjoyed it especially with all the foods we had...hehehe. We wanted to taste different foods from different stores, so we bought some from each. We had pizza baguette and tuna roll from Bread talk, we had 4 jamaican patties, 2 biggie lite iced tea from Wendys and bbq fries with sour cream dip from taters. After the movie we were still full so there's no need to eat there anymore.

The movie starts with articles and news of UFO sightings around the world.
The next scene shows Jack Bruno (Dwayne Johnson), a depressed ex-convict cab driver living in a dirty run down motel in Las Vegas, picking up and dropping off passengers to the UFO convention at the Planet Hollywood Casino and Hotel. One of his passengers was Dr. Alex Friedman (Carla Gugino), a failed scientist who is giving speeches about legitimate scientific theories of UFOs and outer space. After riding in Bruno's cab, she gives him one of her brochures and recommends him to drop by and check out of her lectures.
The next day as he is walking to his cab to start work, he is approached by two large men telling him that Wolff would like to see him. He then fights them off and tells them to move their car. As both men are threatening him, a police car pulls up and tells them to move out of the cab's way or he will give them a ticket. Bruno then drives off, later noticing two children, Sara (AnnaSophia Robb) and Seth (Alexander Ludwig) sitting in the back seat of the cab. He questions them about how and when they got in the cab. They tell him they need to go to a certain destination and are willing to pay all they have to get there. After Bruno sees the money, he starts driving in the direction they give him, which leads them to a run down house in the middle of nowhere. Meanwhile, Major Henry Burke (Ciaran Hinds) is searching for information on the two aliens that landed some days earlier.
The children exit the cab and run into the house, stating that they will be re-united with their relatives soon. Before Bruno drives off, he hears a crash coming from the house and he follows the children in to see if they are okay. As he moves cautiously inside the house, he is startled and sees them hiding behind a couch. The children thank him for his concern but tell him they must continue their journey without him, as they can trust no one. Regardless, Bruno decides to follow them, which leads him to the basement of the house where the kids are followed and attacked by a strange creature as they retrieve an object in a plant. They manage to escape this creature.
They then drive off as they are being attacked by what they say is a "Siphon", a creature built to destroy a certain target, which in this case is the children. They are followed and attacked until Siphon makes the mistake of crashing his ship into a train, destroying his spaceship. Siphon survives, though wounded. The trio eventually find themselves in a small town, hiding. They explain to Bruno that they are aliens from an distant planet, who are sent to earth by their parents because the government of their dying planet intends to attack and invade Earth so that their kind may live on there. They also explain that the object they obtained at the house contains the results of an experiment which their parents set up. The research from this experiment will save their planet without having to attack and invade Earth. However their planet's military prefer the idea of invading Earth and sent the Siphon assassin to stop them. They are next pursued by government agencies trying to retrieve the children for experiments.
They are joined by Dr. Friedman, who is familiar with outer space and travel, at the UFO Expo. The Siphon arrives and prepares to attack but Sara uses her powers to knock him through a wall. The children are eventually captured along with Bruno and Friedman but the two humans escape, and come to rescue the kids, the Siphon arriving and causing a distraction by attacking the base. They manage to free the kids and reach their ship. They escape the base after running the Siphon over but the Siphon hangs on gets on board. Bruno and Seth battle the Siphon in the lower sections of the ship, unmasking him in the fight. Bruno finally defeats the evil alien by knocking him out of the ship's airlock, finally killing him. The kids drop Jack and Alex off and after a tearful goodbye, head back to their ship but give Bruno and Alex a device that will allow the kids to always find them. Meanwhile, Burke is punished for failing to stop Seth and Sarah, as well as the assassin.
The last scene during the credits show Bruno and Dr. Friedman speaking at a UFO convention about their new successful book called "Race to Witch Mountain". The last scene shows them driving off in a car Bruno dreamed of getting honestly as he had mentioned to Friedman earlier - a Mustang similar to that driven by Steve McQueen in Bullitt. As they are about to leave, the device the kids gave Bruno before they left goes off indicating that they may be returning, probably resulting in a re-imagining of Return from Witch Mountain as a sequel

Last Saturday during our regular Saturday night pasyal , Jarmie met his new love ... the Nike Zoom Kobe IV X Del Sol Asia Edition. Medyo malas na daw kasi yung kanyang hyperdunk na shoes kaya gusto na niyang palitan. Because its quite expensive ( hmm... hindi lang ata quite...) hindi niya binili last Saturday, pero hanggang house and even while we were still at ATC he did not stop thinking about the shoes. So the next day, opening pa lang ng Alabang Town Center nandun na kami just to buy it. Sulit naman daw sabi niya kasi super gaan and super ganda daw.

Last February 13 (medyo late post na ito), Las Piñas College held their Teacher's Day celebration inside their MPH ( Multi Purpose Hall). Raizelle and some of her classmates danced to the tune of Chiquita ( by Marian Rivera), ------ after the program they gave the report cards for the 3rd grading...I'm proud to say that both of my kids are rank 1 in their class. Robert and his classmate Joceleen is tied again on the 1st spot, Raizelle got the highest grades on this grading followed by his classmate Tim. One more grdaing to go... Do hope they would remain in rank 1.

Its Valentine's Day again !!! Since me and Josh had our anniversary and advance Valentine celebration yesterday we've decided to celebrate with the kids today, not just because its Hearts day but also because they are both 1st honor for the 3rd grading in their class. We and the kids and Joshua's niece Chloe went at Alabang Town Center to have dinner at Fridays and to play at Timezone. We ordered the usual liempo, parmesan chicken , chicken fingers , my favorite mac and cheese(square -forgot the name) and cheeseburger ( which we divided into 2 servings for the 2 big kids).

Anniversary and advance Valentine Celebration at Dads

We celebrated our monthly anniversary and advance Valentine's Day yesterday. After a week of thinking where to eat, we both agreed to eat at Dad's ( crossover buffet with saisaki and kamayan) in Glorietta. Since I love Japanese foods and pasta and he loves Filipino foods ( and I don't), Dad's is the place to be...

We arrived 2 hours early ( dinner starts at 6pm ), so we just strolled inside Glorietta. Medyo matagal na rin kami di nakapunta dun, i think more than 2 years na. Almost half of the mall is closed due to the explosion. Kids section is compressed to one small place, parang bodega style. Wala kaming mapuntahan so we just spent our time in National bookstore. We went inside Dads at 5:30, and waited there na lang. I started my buffet before josh since the sushi bar was already available. Hindi kumakain ng sushi si josh. I had my salmon and tuna sashimi and temaki. My starter meal

Yesterday we went at ATC ( as always...) , we went for a short stroll and to satisfy our taste buds. Dami kasi kaming takam kainin, and from different places ( Joshua likes barbecue, i like mexican foods, Joshua likes hot chocolate, I like cheese munchers from taters )... We went at ATC twice yesterday, we first went there for lunch with both kids, because of our different food choices we've decided to eat at "Food Choices". Robert ate at Slammers ( small white castle like burgers), joshua had his barbecue, I just ordered grilled tuna belly. After eating the kids and the kids at heart played at Timezone. We had to go home soon because Joshua wants to play basketball...again. At night we went back at Alabang Town Center, without Robert (he preferred playing with his DS instead of going out). I bought my cheddar munchers with sour cream dip at Taters and white cheddar with extra cheddar popcorn for Jersey ( no time to take pictures ...super takam na ako sa cheddar munchers ko kaya kinain ko na agad ). Josh just ordered hot dog from smokeys. We were supposed to buy jamaican patties pero wala ng original...sayang, we ate at Mexicali na lang. I had my favorite BBQ pork burrito, Jersey ordered her favorite cheese and garlic quesadilla and Joshua had soft taco and refillable iced tea. Super busog na naman kami...

My New Cookie

I've been longing to have an iphone since the day it was released...but because of its price ( very very expensive - 37K to 40K) I know I would not be able to have it. Until Joshua told me about the new LG KP500 or LG COOKIE... its quite similar to iphone ( but of course its not as good as iphone) at a low price. Its not 3G and the camera does not have flash ( unlike my present Nokia phone which I would not let go kahit I already have a new phone). But it's lightweight, has expandable memory upto 8GB and syempre a big touch screen ( Yun lang naman talaga ang gusto ko...touch screen..hehehe). I really like my new phone , maganda din ang quality ng music niya. Thank you JOSHUA !!! MWAH !!!

Yesterday, as part of Jarmie's Saturday schedule, he plays basketball with his friends in Pilar. He told me that 2 of his friends told him that they saw him on Lets Parekoy Commercial. At first we thought that they were just joking, but we decided why not search it on youtube, "malay mo totoo "- i told him, since one of his friends is working at ABS-CBN's creative advertisement department. Me and my Elementary friends ( Cindy Tomilloso and Andrea Tabisaura ) were supposed to at Alabang Town Center yesterday afternoon, but there was a last minute ( 2 hours to be exact ) change of plans. Dea's car cannot pass through the main roads because of "color coding" and there's no open time in Las Piñas and Muntinlupa unlike before, so they've decided to just meet at Serendra in Fort Bonifacio near Market Market. Me, Josh and the kids arrived at around 5:30 PM, wala kasing traffic, dea was already waiting for us at starbucks inside fully booked. We waited for Cindy near the fountain. The place was really nice, the kids could run and play there. Some of the stores there are Gap, Nine west and more expensive stores like that. We ate at Italiannis, we ordered 2 pizza and a meal for each of us. Super chika chika and reminiscing the past. We bid barewell to each other at around 9:30PM. Do hope we would see each otehr again, Cindy will be going back to the Us on Saturday, siguro we would meet again after 2 years.

Today is our monthsary... since we still celebrate it every month kahit na more than 8 years na kami ni Josh. We didn't go out today because the kids need to study for their exams tomorrow and me and Josh already had our advance celebration last sunday ( we watched Bedtime Stories at ATC ). I decided to cook a simple yet special dinner for Joshua. My original plan was just plain spaghetti and bread , but i changed it to baked spaghetti, baked garlic bread, mashed potato and brownies ( easy mix brownies na padala ni tita julet - Ghirardelli). I started with the brownies kasi medyo matagl siya ma bake. Then I made the spaghetti and the cream for its toppings. I only used simple ingredients that are already available sa house, so walang bacon and mushrooms today... Okay naman ang outcome ng foods, They enjoyed it and super busog silang lahat. It may not be an expensive date but all these are from the heart ... labor of love sabi nga...

Its Jarmie's off today and and we're really looking forward to our weekend pasyal. Its our habit to go out every saturday or sunday to spend good and fun quality time with the kids. It doesn't necessarily have to be expensive , we're happy that we have time to go out together as a family. Last Saturday my Jarmie was like hiding something from me. He just asked us what we want for the day. The kids agreed to go to timezone and I told him I want a new slippers...again. I asked where he got the money and he just told me not to ask questions and he'll just explain it later. I agreed... The kids spent 200 pesos each for their games at Timezone... I tried my luck at stacker, syempre NO LUCK again...( paano kaya nakakakuha si Bee dun?). Jarmie bought me new slippers at Nike. Dapat Havaianas pero they don't have my size, out of stock. The Nike slippers are very nice and comfortable, super soft siya talaga. Then we had snacks at Breadtalk before going home. I really had a great time. Jarmie was extra sweet to me this day... sana laging ganun. He also explained where he got the extra money ( sa ITR refund pala).

After a small fight last friday night, Joshua asked me to meet him in Ortigas after his basketball game with his officemates( he would really do everything just to play basketball, hindi mo talaga mapipigilan kahit mag away pa kayo). Well, since he left pamasahe naman, and I don't have anything to do here, I agreed to go there with the kids. Medyo mahirap talaga mag commute if you have your kids with you. I left at around 12noon (saturday) already, kahit na ilang beses na siyang tumawag na bakit hindi pa ako umaalis. Since the bus stops at megamall thats the best place we could meet. There was traffic so I arrived there at 1:30PM. Nag-ikot muna ako to find a good place to eat later. Pagdating ni Josh, we ate our late lunch at GUMBO. Okay naman and taste at price, big servings din parang Burgoo. Robert Ordered Kiddie burger with fries (125 pesos) si Kiddie hotdog with fries (125 pesos), Ako cajun chicken with mashed potato and fries( pwede mamili ng sidedish - 255 pesos) , Si Josh pork chop with 2 side dishes - pwede din mamili (225 pesos). Yung kiddie burger nila parang hindi pang kids, masarap din grilled kasi. After eating wala kaming maisip na lugar na pupuntahan kaya sa Market Market na lang kami ulit pumunta sa may Taguig, meron kasi dung big big playground na free at malaking food court sa labas. We left Market Market at 7PM already. 9PM sleep na kami, kaya 4:30 kaninang umaga gising na kami. 5:30 am palang naglalaro na si Josh ng God of War 2 sa PS2. Oo nga pala, bati na kami...

Since katapusan na tomorrow and super lapit na ng New Year, I've decided to clean and rearrange our play room para naman hindi makalat ng buong taon hehehe... I started cleaning and disposing unwanted toys at around 10AM, I stopped at around 1PM to eat my lunch with Joshua and I resumed my cleaning spree after 30 minutes. I finished arranging, cleaning and assorting toys at 4pm already. Haay.... sa wakas maayos na rin, I just hope tumagal na maayos ang toys.

Christmas na naman !!! At last ! After how many years at Client Logic (now SITEL), Joshua celebrated Christmas with us( dati sa office lagi siya nag papasko). At around 7pm we went to their house. We had a light dinner there, ham lang kinain ko and yung seedless grapes para makakain pa ako mamayang gabi sa bahay. Fisr the kids sang Jingle Bell Rock , then we started taking pictures. Syempre and hinihintay ng kids opening ng gifts. Mommy Jessie gave Jersey a barbie doll (pareho sila ni Chloe), and he gave Robert 500 pesos (tuwang tuwa si Treb! ), Lola Talin gave the kids 500 each also and cash for Me and Joshua too.Mommy Jessie also gave us cash for Christmas. At around 10pm we went home. The kids changed their clothes to their santa costumes. Then we ate at around 11:30pm na. Simple lang ang aming Nocje Buena since 4 lang naman kami - ( we had Patatim, lechon kawali, baked spaghetti, ham, leche flan and brownies). Tapos nag open ulit ng presents. We gave Jersey her favorite Diamond Castle Barbie and Robert his favorite Gormitti toys. Jersey also received shoes from Lolo Del, Barbie from me and CD player toy from Treb. Joshua gave me slippers (aside from the cash he gave me earlier). Naku, wala pa pala akong gift kay Joshua ko... After that natulog na rin kami. On the 25th we had lunch at Joshua's house, his mom invited us there to taste the lamb she cooked. Masarap pala, first time ko kasing nakakain ng lamb, hindi naman pala malansa. At around 4pm we went to Market Market! in Taguig, super dami ng tao , i just bought some games for the PS2 and had some gamed downloaded in my DS tapos bumalik kami sa Alabang, we went at Alabang Town Center na lang and spent time in Timezone.

Last Sunday, kahit may ubo... punta ulit kami ng MOA wiht Jarmie's mom and his niece. Syempre we ate at Burgoo again, favorite ng kids at ng kids at heart, affordable kasi at big ang servings nila. Then namasyal ulit sa park sa likod. May musical show din pala yung fountain dun. Grabe parang lovers lane yung tabi ng sea, partner partners talaga. Dami ding tao kahit late na. Pass 11 na rin kami umuwi, hindi masyadong malamig hindi katulad nung last na nagpunta kami na maginaw.

Around 7:00 AM this morning, ginising kami ng helper namin kasi may snake daw dun sa ilalim ng washing machine. Fisrt daw, inaayos niya yung mga lalabahan niyang damit, tapos biglang may nahulog na snake galing sa basket ng mga dirty clothes, lumusot sa ilalim ng washing machine. Talot din ako, buti na lang nandito si Jarmie ko, kumuha siya ng 2 stick para ipitin yung head ng snake kasi medyo mabilis siya at tumataas na yung head handa nang magtuklaw. Mga kasing kapal niya yung index finger ni Jarmie peromahaba siya. Nung na press na niya yung head para ma prevent lumusot dun sa drainage, tsaka initak yung head niya. Grabe ! kahit putol na head niya gumagalaw pa din siya. Nakaktakot talaga kasi baka may iba pa, ma kids pa naman dito sa house. Sana wala ng kasamahan yung snake na iyon.

Last Sunday, Josh decided to buy some shoes and clothes for the kids, so went to Festival Mall with his niece Chloe. We finished our little shopping at around 9pm and he asked the kids if they are already sleepy, since they are still full of energy, he decided to go on a short joy ride just to see some Christmas Lights and decors. First, we had a short discussion whether to go to Tagaytay or to Mall of Asia, since its late we decided to go to MOA. I thought it was a bit dangerous to go to their playground at the back of the mall near the bay because its late already, but when we got there, to my surprise "DAMI PALANG TAO" and there were also guards roaming around the area. The kids played at the playground...pero instead of swings and slides, there were like exercise machines. We bought battery operated bubble gun for 100 pesos each (Mahal nga e). We left at around 12MN na, nag enjoy naman kami and next time siguro magbabaon na kmai...hehehe!!!

Yesterday was Treb and Jersey's Field Trip, Super excited ang kids. Our first stop was at Paradizoo... puro domesticated animals lang dun, konti lang animals pero malaki din yung land, hindi siya kasing laki ng avilon at manila zoo. Maganda din yung place kasi daming mga tanim na malalaking lettuce, cabbage at meron din strawberry (pero wala pang bunga strawberry nila). Pinakita din kung paano mag milk ng goat, meron din sila 5 legged cow . Next we went to Tierra de Maria, nandun daw yung Lady of Manaoag, tapos as usual sa Picnic Grove , nag horsebackriding yung kids. Nag Zip ride din si Josh ( panoorin yung yung video clip niya)... Habang wait namin siya bumalik nakita namin din yung hosts ng trip na trip, nagpa picture si jersey kay Uma (yung dati sa pinoy big brother). After sa picnic grove punta kami sa lucky me noodle factory and yung last trip namin sa gardenia. Super bango dun sa Gardenia, napabili tuloy kami ng breads dun ng di oras, cheaper dun ng mga 6 pesos. Haay ! medyo napagod din kaya absent today ang kids. Rest muna...hehehe!!!

After the LAPPRISA (Las Piñas Private Schools Association ) Competition , we went to have lunch at FRIDAYS again... But this time I'm with my Nanay and Tatay who are leaving tomorrow to spend their Christmas in US with my sisters. Joshua ordered the same thing - Filipino style Liempo, Jersey had fried mac and cheese, robert ate the whole platter of chicken fingers , my parents shared the crispy fish (forgot the whole name of the dish), and I ordered the lunch meal - caesar salad with half chicken sandwich. As usual we were satisfied with the food siguro kasi yun ang talagang gusto naming kainin at that time. Hindi pa rin ako nagsasawa sa salad nila... And siyempre mas masarap lalo kasi treat nila nanay at tatay yun...hehehe. Pag-uwi binigyan pa ako ni Nanay ng 1 box ng Ferrero Chocolates...Hay!!! Talagang di na ako papayat niya. Thank you Nanay and Tatay !!!

Mommy Jessie ordered crispy Fish, sarap siya medyo spicy ng konti yung sauce, Mahal ordered his favorite Liempo, I ordered parmesan chicken with mozzarella salad and pasta, Jersey ordered chicken fingers for her and Chloe, and Robert ordered cheeseburger. Super sarap and super busog na naman kami. Tomorrow parents ko naman ang kasama, mukhang Fridays ulit kasi nagustuhan ng kids and the kids at heart foods doon.

Last October 31 we spent the night at the Manila Memorial Park in Sucat Parañaque. For the first time walang traffic ! Siguro kasi hindi rin declared holiday ang October 31, unlike before super traffic talaga papunta sa cemetery. Daming tinda sa loob ng cemetry, may Shakeys, Burger King, KFC at dami pang iba. Super antok na antok na si treb kaya habang naglalagay pa lang si Josh ng tolda tulog na si tren sa chair. Pagkatapos maglagay lipat lang sa lapag tapos tulog na naman, di tuloy nakapasyal dun kasi nung umaga umuulan naman. First time ng kids at ni Josh matulog sa sementeryo kay medyo excited sa umpisa , pero pagdating naman dun natulog din agad yung mga bata. Inaaya nga ako ni josh maglakad, e super pagod na pagod na ako kasi layo ng nilakad namin sa trick or treat nung hapon kaya di ko na talaga kaya. Buti na lang din at hindi mainit kasi umuulan ulan kaya okay yung stay namin dun. Dami ngang foods kasi expected namin pupunta din yung iba naming relatives kaya lang hindi sila nagpunta, napanis tuloy yung isnag bilaong pansit, sayang...sarap pa naman. Almost 8am na rin kami umuwi ng November 1 kasi sa hapon pupunta naman kami sa Taguig Cemetery. Dun super dami ng tao at init, hindi tulad sa Manila Memorial pwedeng mamasyal.

Joshua's Birthday

Joshua celebrated his 29th Birthday last October 23 at TGIF. He ordered Filipino style liempo for him and for my tatay, my mom ordered fish with fries, I ordered Bacon Cheeseburger and we ordered chicken fingers for the kids and syempre my favorite mozzarella sticks for appetizer. Grabe, super busog kaming lahat, buti na lang din a kami nag order ng salad nila (favorite ko din yung Caesar salad nila), din a kasi naming maubos yung mga food. And okay lang din kasi 2K lang nagatos naming (including the 20% discount for senior citizens). Sana sa birthday ko dun ulit. After dinner natakam ako sa ice cream, so i bought an ice cream cone at häagen-dazs. Try ko yung blueberry nila, masarap din pero for the price of 175 per cone, naku sa AMICI na lang ako. 50 pesos lang parehas lanbg din ang taste at talagang may blueberry pa. Tapos Joshua bought us a box of desserts from Dulcinea, super sarap din (talagang di ako papayat na...hehehe!). Thank you Josh ! Happy Birthday Mahal...Mwah !!!

Joshua lost his precious Nike sunglasses last week or 2 weeks ago ata, so for his birthday ang regalo niya sa sarili niya ay brand new sunglasses from RUDY PROJECT. Grabe!!!! kung saan saan namin hinanap ang sunglasses na gusto talaga niya, in the end sa Megamall kami nakabili. Price? secret na lang... hehehe!

Quiz Bee and Poem Recitation Contest

Congratulations to my Robert and Raizelle Jersey !!! Robert won 2nd Place in the quiz bee competition yesterday. It was a very close fight. Robert got all the easy (5pts each) and Average (10pts each ) correctly, but made a mistake at the difficult round which is 15 pts per question.His total score is 135 points and the 1st place winner got 140 points- SAYANG !!! But, it's okay He did his best naman. This morning Raizelle and Robert participated in the Poem Recitation Contest, Raizelle Jersey recited "FALLING STAR", she got 2nd place ( 1st place from the Preparatory department, 2nd place-Raizelle Jersey Kindergarten department, and the 3rd place winner is from Grade 1). Super proud ako kasi natalo niya yung mga Grade 1 and ibang prep, 8 contestants sila lahat naglaban. Robert didn't win in this competition but okay lang din, super galing din kasi ng kalaban niya and dami rin nila naglaban. I'm so proud of my kids !!! Thank you Lord for helping them always and for hearing our prayers.

Our First Night at Villa Cordillera

Last Thursday night Joshua told me that we would be going to Baguio, super biglaan nga, kasi expected ko hindi na talaga kami sasama, pero thanks to SIR MELVIN, ZANDY and the rest of the team, na nagsabi na isama ang buong family kaya nakasama kami. Super Thank you talaga, especially kay SIR MELVIN na super bait at super humble pa. So, friday morning nagpunta kami ng kids sa office para sunduin na si Josh. Saya naman ng mga anak ko kasi di na sila pumasok nung friday and first time ng mga kids pumunta sa Baguio. 3Pm na kami nakaalis sa Ortigas (Taipan Building), almost 9 long hours ang biyahe namin, super traffic kasi sa Tarlac ata yun. Maganda yung Villa Cordillera, sabi nila part daw yun ng Baguio Country Club, kaya lahat ng gamit may tatak ng Baguio Country Club, ang ganda din ng view at sarap ng breakfast nila. Saturday after breakfast nag SITE tour kami sa SITEL Baguio, tapos syempre after lunch namasyal sa burnham at ukay2. Sayang nga lang umulan kaya di kami masyado nakapasyal. After that nagpunta na sila sa game. Sabi They are not allowed to say bad things sa nangyari gainst the players pero GRABE !!!! Sobrang grabe naman talaga !!!! almost 30 points ang lamang natin sa SITEL baguio after 3rd quarter, grabe na sila manakit pero hindi tinatawagan ng foul, si Tanaman hinila sa leeg, Si Mickey sinuntok ata sa likod, Yung referee naninigaw tapos si Jarmie ko pinatid nadapa tapos sinabihan pa siya ng referee na " HINDI KA PINATID HA ! " , syempre bait naman ng Mahal ko e di sabi na lang niya " SABI NIYO E " , sobrang sobra talaga taposparati pa silang tinatawagan ng foul kahit wala namang foul tapos tinawagan pa sila ng penalty na sunod sunod kahit wala namang penalty. Tapos 2 minutes palang nakalilipas sa 4th quarter 13 na lang ang lamang bigla sa score board, parang na magic ang score e puro shoot naman sila. Super hindi nga maka shoot yung SITEL baguio sa free throws lang nakaka score halos. Tapos super sama pa magsalita ng mga tao dun, grabe, kampi kampi sila , kaya nag walk out na lang ang buong team kasi nasasaktan na sila , nadadaya pa ng hustong husto. Sabi pa nung Referee e di daw siya pwedeng kausapin habang game time. Tapos nagka foul magkaiba ang sinabi ng 2 referee kung bakit foul. Tindi talaga. Super obvious ang dayaan. haay naku!!! next topic na nga lang. After that treat pa ng SITEL TEAM natin yung team nila sa dinner.... pero syempre ibang table. Medyo maaga kami natulog nung last night namin dun ( except lang sa ibang players tulad ni Tanaman na nag pusoy di na natulog hanggang umaga), 4am kami gumising para mamalengke with Coach Edward, Tanaman at Aepol. Tapos afteer breakfast nag last minute balik kami sa ukay2 with coach edward wala pang 1 hr nakabalik na kami sa Villa kasi alis na kami ng 9am. Super happy naman kami sa trip lalo na yung mga kids gustong gusto nga bumalik para pumasyal naman. Thank you SITEL for the wonderful trip. Sana may next time ulit, hehehe!

Last Sunday, we went at Alabang Town Center to watch the BEN10 Multimedia show. Unfortunately there was a problem with the system and they were not able to play the multimedia show on the schedules 11AM show, but there were still games, prizes and meet and greet with 3 of the BEN10 characters. Robert one in one of the games and both Robert and Jersey had chance to have their picture taken with BEN10, Four Arms ( my favorite monster ) and Wildmutt. Though we werent able to watch the multimedia show, we still has a great time.

Bigayan ng report cards kanina at announcement ng top students for the first grading. Medyo di na ako masyadong umaasa na mag top 1 ulit si robert kasi super talino ng classmates niya ngayon. Kaya kanina nung sinabi ni teacher Rose na first honor si Robert ( 2 silang first honor, si jocelyn yung isa), syempreng tuwang tuwa ako. Tapos pagpunta ko sa classroom ni Jersey naka post na first honor din pala siya kaya syempre sobra ang aking tuwa. First grading palang yan... dami pa pwedeng mangyari kaya dapat aral pa rin maigi.

My Sick Robert

Last Friday we brought Robert at the clinic nearby, he had a temperature of 39, so as usual the doctor prescribed paracetamol and other medicines. He has to take 1 biogesic tablet ( hindi na daw pwede syrup kasi super bigat daw niya) every four hours. Yesterday super pannicked na ang mom ko, Robert's fever was over 40 already and paracetamol doesn't seem to work, so we rushed him at Asian Hospital . The male nurses are very accomodating but the female nurse was a bit suplada. I requested for a thicker blanket at the ER nurse because it was so cold, grabe super hindi inasikaso, so I again, requested for the blanket, this time dun na sa male nurse, wala pang 3 minutes nandyan na yung blanket. And kapag may tanong ako regarding sa results nung mga tests hindi ma explain and nag eexplain yung male nurse. Yung doctor din na in charged very kind din at ine explain niya lahat sa amin. Sabi nga ni Josh mukhang konyo daw at may hitsura si Dr Tiongson. Thank you Doc for answering all my questions medyo makulit din kasi ako, dami kong tanong. Madaling araw na akmi na discharged kanina, pinababa lang ng konti yung lagnat. Nung nag 38.5 pinauwi na kami, viral lang daw , norma naman yung urinalysis at CBC result. Super laking tulong talaga ng health card ni Josh- you're the best MAXICARE (hehehe!!!), wala na kaming binayaran, pati yung mga laboratory covered din. Ngayon medyo okay na si Treb, si Jersey may lagant din 39 din, pero mukha namang okay na kasi malikot. Pinag Dolan ko na lang agad, mas okay pala ang IBUPROFEN kapag mataas asyado ang lagnat kaysa sa paracetamol. Thank God safe sila at walang dengue. Thank you JOSHUA at sinamahan mo akong magbantay sa hospital kahit super antok ka na. I Love you !!!

Last Saturday, me and some of my high school classmates had a simple reunion at Aileen's house. It's so nice to reminisce all the memories we've had. Though we only spent a short time together, it was really memorable and I do hope that we could have a bigger reunion next time. We just got new puppies ( 1 lang talaga kaso yung puppy ng kapitbahay namin na sister ng binigay sa amin laging punta ng punta sa amin kaya parang dito na rin sa amin nakatira). Bigay ni Ate Arlene yung baby dalmatians.. We named them LEBRON and AALIYAH ( ako na rin ang nag pangalan dun sa girl sinabi ko sa neighbor namin na yun ang tawag ko sa kanya okay naman daw ). Hirap nga mag isisp ng name ng puppy namin, nakasanayan na kasi na player ng NBA ang names ng nagiging dogs namin, ayaw kasi ni nanay kay Kobe mayabang daw, kaya Lebron na lang. Super kulit ni Aaliyah pero si Lebron parang may sakit, ayaw kumain tapos sleep lang ng sleep, si Aaliyah ang umubos ng food at ng milk. Ngayon pareho silang wala, lumusot dun sa gate nung kapitbahay namin, bumalik ata sa mommy nila, bukas ko na ulit kukunin ulit, mag iingay na naman yun pag dito pinilit mag stay ng gabi.

After months of waiting to buy a new phone ( iphone was the one I really had in mind , pero super mahal kasi …) At last ! The time has come… I bought my new cellphone. I can bid my Nokia N70 farewell… It’s quite hard to choose a phone especially if you have a certain budget, that’s why I needed Joshua’s help ( magaling kasi pumili at makahanap ng di maganda about a certain phone…kaya mababawas bawasan ang mga pagpipilian). Si Josh ang nag suggest ng 6500 slide, pero mas gusto niya yung black. Nung una parang di ko masyadong type kasi nga gusto ko talaga iphone or basta touch screen para maiba naman. Pero gusto ko talaga ng iphone lalo na kapag nakikita ko yung kay Sonny, haaaay!!!! Kaso nung nagtanong ako sa Globe 41,000 daw yung bago, e ang alam ko $200 lang yun sa US. Tapos yung old iphone naman mahigit 20K din. Eto 13,500 lang ang brand new. Okay naman siya, mag maganda yung sounds niya kaysa sa N70 na nilalait lait lagi ni Josh. Pero yung picture niya mas malinaw pa rin yung sa Motorola. Pero maganda naman siya and madaling dalhin.

My New Recipe for the kids and the kids at heart

Super hilig kasi ng kids ko at ng Joshua ko na mag eat. Favorite past time yun lalo na ni Treb. This is a very simple recipe and very quick to prepare. You need bread , cheese )preferably yung nag me melt), ham ( or kahit anong gusto niyong ipalaman), bread crumbs, evaporated milk and egg. Preapre mo lang siya parang french toast pero lagyan muna ng bread crumbs bago i-fry. I use olive oil with a little butter instead of regular cooking oil. Sarap naman siya , try niyo.

Yesterday, July 20, 2008, We celebrated my children's ( Robert and Raizelle Jersey ) Birthday at Cabalen , Festival Mall Alabang. At first super kinabahan na ako kasi quarter to 3 na halos wala pang bisita. Buti na lang mga 3pm dumating na din sila. Super saya naman ng party, daming games and may eat all you can merienda din. Sayang lang at naiwan namin sa house yung pabitin, ang tagal tagal ko pa namang pinupuno ng mga toys yung pabitin. Sayang din kasi hindi nakapunta yung mga ibang invited na guests. Pinakain muna namin ang visitors before starting the program. At 4pm the opening prayer was led by Jarmie's one and only niece CHLOE. Then after that Robert's classmates BIANCA and MARY ( supposedly kasama si Ivan and Hilarie pero they were unable to attend the party ) dance to the tune of Move, Shake ( syempre ako ang nagturo ng steps). Before the games 10 yr. old STEPHANIE gave a very beautiful song number that amazed the audience ( ang ganda talaga ng voice niya). The GAMES ! GAMES ! GAMES ! Pati syempre mommies kasama din sa games. The party ended at 5pm ( kasi until 5pm lang ang reservation ko ), super saya naman ng kids and I think that the guests also had fun. Thank you to all who made the party memorable. THANK YOU ! THANK YOU !

CHAMPIONS AT LAST!!!

After 5 months of training and hard work, SITEL won the championship for the 2008 MBT Inter-Call Center Basketball League. Super Exciting ang laban and dikit lang halos ang scores ng both teams. The GCS team were ahead of 10 points at the start of the fourth quarter, both teams have their own cheering crowds ( super ingay at exciting talaga). Nakakakaba din, kasi for the past 3 years undefeated ang GCS , and they were bidding for a three-peat , well sorry lang sila kasi SITEL ang nanalo. Super grabe ang tension, pati referees pinag initan na ng GCS, nakakatakot nagkagulo. With 50 seconds remaining score in favor of SITEL, nagkagulo na and di na natapos ang game. We were so happy to be CHAMPIONS, may napala din ang pag uwi ng late ni Joshua at ang sakit ng katawan sa practice. After the game nakakatakot pa rin lumabas kasi hindi umaalis ang mga taga GCS, nakaabang pa rin sila and nagsasabi pa sila ng di magaganda pag dumadaan ang winners. Pati si Jersey napag initan, nabato siya ng plastic water bottle sa ulo, naku grabe ! Nakakatakot talaga. After nilang magbihis nag treat sina Mr. Dan Reyes , super bait pala niya at maasikaso. Syempre pati kaming mga sabit naambunan ng libreng foods, Hehehe ! Sarap din ng foods dun, nakalimutan ko yung pangalan nung kainan basta sa may Pioneer Center siya. Nabigyan pa ang players ng extra rest day, direct order from Mr. Dan Reyes himself. Sabi may Baguio daw sila , syempre sama din ako, di pwedeng Joshua lang... UKAY UKAY Here comes RAIN !!!! Hehehe !!! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL PLAYERS OF SITEL, AND TO THEIR COACH AND MANAGERS AND TO SONNY NA SOBRANG TIYAGA SA KANILA.

JOSHUA'S HYPERDUNK

After how many months of looking at his " Jarmie's Secret " lists in his bulletin board, Joshua aka Jarmie at last bought "THE" shoes, though the picture in his bulletin board is the KOBE III shoes , he bought the latest Nike shoes ... the most lightweight shoes ( as they are advertised). Yesterday, we went at ATC and bought the KOBE III shoes ... after purchasing it ( wala pa sigurong 30 minutes ) he decided to return it and exchange it with the Hyperdunk. Haaay !!!! Sa Wakas !!! nakabili din... But, until now, he's still having second thoughts about the KOBE III shoes... wag sana agad lumabas yung all black na hyperdunk.

Me , Josh and Jersey went at Chilly Will'y in Robinson's Pioneer. Sabi kasi ni Josh parang masarap dun, so we've decided to try it out. He ordered sizzling steak ( i think, di ko matandaan) and i ordered bacon cheeseburger. Sa price ng cheeseburger na 200, I expected it to be the same size as the burger in Burgoo or Friday's...but sad to say it's super small and super konti ng fries. we were very disappointed...so pumasok kami ng Robinson's and decided to eat again at a burger stand (American Chili's and Hot Wings) ... another disappointment ... ibang iba yung picture sa actual food, even the buffalo wings wala yung coating niya. Haay naku...buti na lang di expensive, pero sobrang tagal nila mag serve ng food. Next time, dun na kami sa sure kami.

Last Saturday me and Joshua had a simple rainy day date at Festival Mall (pambawi daw sa mga oras niyang ginugol sa paglalaro ng basketball ). He decided to eat at Cravings. He ordered chicken and I ordered fish and chips. Eat all you can soup and salad was included in every main dish ordered. His chicken tastes good but quite expensive for such a small serving. My fish is also good but it's a bit oily. But it was really sweet of Josh for spending time with me( kahit alam kong puyat siya), and i really enjoyed our simple rainy day date.

I ordered a Club Sandwich and a Sprite in a restaurant somewhere in Manila .
When I finished half of the sandwich, I sipped the sprite.
But it didn't taste like the ordinary sprite I used to drink.
So I sipped once more, but it still tasted the same.
It tasted like sprite mixed with some kind of oil.
I called the clerk and asked him if the sprite was expired.
He said it was just delivered today. So I asked him to taste it.
Then he also found that something was wrong with it.

Both of us were wondering for a while. Then I got to look inside the straw.
There were a lot of tiny black round things that looked like eggs .
So I cut the middle of the straw lengthwise to have a better look.
Yuck. There were a lot of tiny black round things in it.
I suppose they were eggs of cockroach. About 1000 eggs were there.

Then we began to check all the other straws in the straws case one by one.
Almost all of them contained black eggs that seemed to be either the cockroach eggs or excretions.

After the incident I began to check all the straws in the restaurants and fast food chains that I had gone to.
Almost of all the straws contained the same black eggs.
Especially the darker the colors of straws, the more black eggs were found.
In black straws, extreme amount of black eggs were found.
It was found out that it' s because the cockroaches live (hatch eggs and excrete) in dark places.

We celebrated Father's Day at Festival Mall. Super dami ng tao agad, buti nalang medyo maaga kami sa lunch. Sa Max's kami nag lunch . Okay naman. Dami ring tao. Buti na lang nakakuha agad kami ng table. Kasama namin si Tatay , Nanay and Tito Romeo.

Po (Jack Black) is a panda who works in the noodle shop owned by his goose father Mr. Ping (James Hong) and is a kung fu fanatic, but whose defining characteristic appears to be that he is the klutziest animal in ancient China.
Master Oogway (Randall Duk Kim) has a premonition that the evil warrior Tai Lung (Ian McShane), the former student of his own protege, Shifu (Dustin Hoffman), will escape from prison and return to menace the Valley of Peace. While Shifu sends Zeng (Dan Fogler), a messenger goose, to Chorh-Gom Prison to have the security increased, Oogway orders a formal ceremony to choose the mighty Dragon Warrior who can defeat Tai Lung. The Dragon Warrior is presumed to be one of the Furious Five (Angelina Jolie as Tigress, Jackie Chan as Monkey, Seth Rogen as Mantis, Lucy Liu as Viper and David Cross as Crane), a quintet of supremely skilled martial artists trained by Shifu.
While the Five demonstrate their skills at the ceremony, Po finds himself locked outside. He attempts desperately to gain entrance. Through a series of increasingly foolhardy methods, Po succeeds, but lands in the middle of the grounds just as Oogway makes his selection. Inspired by this sudden appearance, the old master designates Po the Dragon Warrior. To everyone's shock and despite Po's protests and Shifu's pleas to reconsider, Oogway stands by his decision.
Alarmed at having a slovenly and obese noodle vendor with no martial arts training whatsoever under his tutelage, Shifu attempts to discourage Po by berating and humiliating him into leaving, including threatening to use the apparently deadly "Wuxi Finger Hold" on him. The Five, profoundly disappointed being upstaged by the panda, similarly dismiss Po as a worthless interloper. Although he becomes aware of Shifu's true intentions, Po endures all the abuse willingly for the growing dream to become something better while Master Oogway encourages the panda to believe in himself. Eventually, the affable Po endears himself to the Five with his tireless tenacity, good cooking, and sense of humor.
Meanwhile, Zeng's errand backfires disastrously when a tour of the prison given to him by the overly confident head of security, Commander Vachir (Michael Clark Duncan) inadvertently enables Tai Lung to escape — overwhelming numerous rhinoceros prison guards. In the Valley of Peace, Oogway passes away, his dying wish that Shifu train a deeply discouraged Po. In the meantime, the Five take it upon themselves to intercept Tai Lung. After a long night of pondering how to train the panda, Shifu discovers that Po is capable of impressive physical feats when motivated by food. Realizing that he has found the right focus for the panda, Shifu leads Po to the countryside for a vigorous training regime where the student is offered food as a reward, but only if he learns his lessons properly. Thus motivated, Po learns swiftly and finally becomes an impressive martial artist in his own right.
The Five battle Tai Lung but are eventually beaten and paralyzed with a specialized nerve-striking technique. When they return defeated, Shifu finally decides Po is ready to take the villain on and gives him the sacred Dragon Scroll that promises great power to the possessor. When Po opens it, he finds nothing but a blank reflective surface. Now in despair, Shifu orders his students to evacuate the village while he stays to delay Tai Lung from pursuing them for as long as he can.
As Po participates in the evacuation, he speaks to his father who tries to cheer him up by telling him a secret; not that he is adopted, but that the secret ingredient of his noodle soup is nothing but what you, the cook, put in it yourself, and that the soup is only special if you believe that it is special. When Po realizes that truth is the very point of the Dragon Scroll, that the power promised is already inside him, he rushes off to help Shifu. At this time Tai Lung confronts Shifu and soundly beats him for his perceived betrayal of not arguing with Master Oogway's rejection of Tai Lung as Dragon Warrior. Tai Lung also wants the Dragon Scroll for himself. For his part, Shifu is crippled by his profound feelings of guilt and responsibility for his former protege, whom he loved like a son, turning to evil.
Before Tai Lung can kill his mentor, Po arrives to challenge him. Although the snow leopard scoffs at the fat panda being the Dragon Warrior, the ensuing fight proves Po to be an extremely formidable opponent. Tai Lung temporarily stuns Po and gains the Dragon Scroll, but is aghast when he examines it, unable to understand its spiritual symbolism. As he recovers, Po strikes a critical spiritual blow on Tai Lung when he reveals a deeper wisdom explaining the scroll that the villain cannot match. Frustrated at his apparently worthless prize and facing a spiritually superior enemy, Tain refuses to accept the truth and tries to kill Po with his nerve strikes. However, the attack proves useless on the panda with his body fat protecting his nerves. Emboldened, Po effectively counter-attacks with a unique improvised combat style that takes advantage of his girth to absorb and reflect the force from Tai Lung's attacks back at him. In the end, Po uses the Wuxi Finger Hold which he claims to have learned on his own, destroying Tai Lung with a devastating explosion that ripples through the valley.
The Furious Five, impressed at Po's victory, acknowledge the panda as a kung fu master. The villagers, including Po's father, return and hail Po as a hero. Po rushes back to Shifu, who appears to be dying, but is only resting after taking such a beating. Po shares a meditation with him, but soon asks him if he would like to get something to eat.
At the end of the credit scroll, Po and Shifu are seen eating together by a peach tree. A seed planted by Shifu earlier has begun to sprout.

My New Hello Kitty Telephone

I just bought a new Hello Kitty telephone and lampshade.Napaiiling na nga lang si Joshua. Super cute ng telephone kaso yung instructions sa manual hindi ko maintindihan, wala kasing English translation, pero pinagtyagaan ko talgang mai program yung phone, lahat ng buttons inisa isa. OKay na naman, hindi ko lang alam yung iba dun kung para saan siya talaga, pero na set ko naman yung date and time. Next time cellphone naman.

I just finished re-arranging our playroom. Medyo nakakapagod mag ayos ng mga toys. Ang hirap ipamigay or i dispose ng mga toys na pinaghirapan bilhin pero ayaw na ng mga kids. Medyo Nag concentrate ako sa 1 corner na puro Hello Kitty items kasi yun ang favorite ni Jersey. Nakakatuwa naman ang result ng pag-aayos ko kahit mahigit half day ako nag-aayos.

Last Sunday we went at Star City for Robert's Culmination Day (Mcdonald's) for being a member of the Mcdonald's Kiddie Crew batch 2008. They joined some outdoor games and then went inside the Aliw Theatre for a short program. Super Dami ng tao, and they were not well organized. The groups were all mixed up and they were not able to follow the schedule. The Kiddie Crews were given ride-all-you-can tags , pero dahil super dami ng tao at haba ng pila nakakatamad na ring sumakay, If the companion wants to avail the ride-all-you-can tag, we can buy it for only 120 pesos, dapat nga bibili kami, pero nung malaman namin na di kasama yung snow world and dino island and some of the rides were closed ( surf dance, the ride with the loop and most of the rides outside), hindi na lang kami bumili. The Kiddie Crew were also given food stub, they gave Treb mcdonalds chicken and rice , super tigas ng nung chicken and wala pang kasamang gravy. We decided to buy foods at andoks ( 2 pcs barbecue and rice ) for only 51 pesos, sulit naman. After lunch pumunta kami sa Dino Island ( 100 per person) , doon nag-enjoy naman kami. Mainit nga lang sobra sa loob walang aircon. Siguro since closed sila kasi exclusive yung park for that day sa Mcdonald's nagtitipid sila. Before leaving i decide to join the contest there for moms, fortunately nanalo naman ako ( 6 or 7 pieces ng fit and right juice) . Nag-enjoy naman yung kids kahit paikot ikot lang kami dun. 1 lang nasakyang ride ni Treb, mas matagal pa kasi siya pumila kaysa sa ride. Okay naman, dami naman give aways.

My daughter Raizelle Jersey loves Hello Kitty so much...maybe too much. She likes all her things to be hello kitty, from her pencil case upto her pencils,erasers, rulers, scissors, lunch box , etc. etc. Mukha atang nakakahawa ang Hello Kitty Mania, kasi even my friends with daughters who also likes to collect Hello Kitty items are also into Hello Kitty stuffs for themselves already. Ako nga rin nag co collect na rin ng Hello Kitty. Because of the high priced Hello Kitty items in malls especially at Gift Gate ( nakakabaliw ang prices nila dun) , I started browsing the internet for some items at a cheaper price.

Now, I'm starting to sell Hello Kitty items at ebay, brand new and very affordable. Konti palang kasi I'm only starting with these products, these are from Korea and some from Japan and China. Ark Avilon Zoo

At last we've finally made it at Ark Avilon Zoo. Last week we tried to visit this zoo but nature didn't let us... super lakas ng ulan and we just stayed in megamall until 8pm. Pero this time rain or shine I told myself (and syempre kay jarmie ko), na pupunta kami sa ark avilon zoo...thank God and He gave us a good weather and wala pa gaanong tao. Entrance fee is 200 per person including the interaction with animals , pero you have to pay 50 pesos if you want to hold the tiger cub. Super cute ng cub! Then we paid 10 pesos for the super konting kangkong to feed the rabbits, siguro naka 40 pesos kami para sa kangkong. We also saw a carabao, white siya parang albino Meron ding puma, bear , jaguar, lion , crocodile and di ko na matandaan yung iba. Maliit lang yung place pero super clean.

At around 3pm, the animals were already at the center of the zoo where you can hold and take your pictures with them. At first ayaw ni Robert hawakan yung snake, smaller siya than the snake sa manila zoo. I had to hold the snake first so that Robert would see that there's nothing to be afraid of ( pero sa loob loob ko takot din ako), kahit maliit siya medyo mabigat din siya. After that nawala na din takot ni treb. We also had our picture taken with the donkey ( di na daw ako pwede sumakay, pang bata lang daw ...sayang) , the bird ( di ko alam kung anong bird siya) and our favorite JENNY the monkey. Super bait ni Jenny, ang bango bango pa, parang nenuco pa ata ang cologne. Sa taas may playground din na maliit and nandun yung mga chickens na super laki at iba pang small animals. Super nag enjoy ang kids at syempre lalo na ang mommy rain.

Mother's Day

This morning we visited may Lola's grave at the Manila Memorial Park. We ate our lunch there (picnic style) and left at around 12noon. Then we went to Megamall to buy a new battery for my camera.We left there at around 3:30 to watch my Mahal's 4:00 basketball game at Don Bosco. After winning their game against batch 2001 he treated us at AMICI. we ordered 2 pizzas and 2 pastas. All were delicious ...

After our meal, our Amici experience would not be complete without eating ice cream... My mom had Sansrival Ice cream , Robert had vanilla, Raizelle finished her mango ice cream first and asked for half of her kuya's ice cream. I exchanged my vanilla with chocolate chips ice cream for Mahal's chocolate ice cream ( super sweet kasi nung ice cream ko). I really had a great time today,Tomorrow is also a big day for me and my kids. We're going to visit the Ark Avilon Zoo and Funranch in Tiendesitas. Sana hindi na magloko camera ko ngayon...

Ice Cream @ AMICI

I recently went to Amici di Don Bosco. it's located right inside the Don Bosco Technical School Compound in Makati City. Amici di Don Bosco is an Italian word for friends of Don Bosco.

I'm really not that fond of ice creams. Josh used to tell me about these huge variety of ice creams sold near his former school (DON BOSCO Makati ), but I'm really not that interested before since I know that it's quite far from our place . But when he had a game in Don Bosco ( inter-batch Basketball League ) , i didn't let this opportunity pass ... I asked him ( convinced, persuaded and demanded ) to please take me at AMICI. Of course he said yes ( wala naman siyang choice e , i don't take no for an answer ) . The place is not that big, it's self-service, but the food is nice. We ordered four cheese pizza ( 270 pesos i think ) and 4 cups of ice cream ( for me , josh , treb and jersey). Their Mango ice cream really has mangoes inside, Josh got the Toblerone flavored Ice cream, Jersey exchanged her strawberry ice cream for my mango ( medyo sour kasi yung strawberry), i forgot what treb had. We also ordered lasagna , i think it's 190 pesos. Their foods are good and their prices are affordable. I'm really looking forward to Josh's next Don Bosco Basketball game... I really like to eat at AMICI again. BTW , Amici di Don Bosco is located along Pasong Tamo Street, near the Walter Mart. They’re open Mondays-Saturdays
